Illinois Library Performers

We are pleased to offer a roundup of performers, mostly but not all from Illinois, available for library programming. Normally, that would mean coming to the library; while many libraries nationwide are impacted by stay-at-home orders during the COVID-19 pandemic, why not check with some of them to see if they are willing to host virtual performances? An April 1, 2020 Chicago Tribune article showcased what a few Chicago-area magicians are doing to connect with their audiences remotely.

To create this directory, we surveyed several performers who have already formed relationships with Illinois libraries. This is not an all-encompassing directory, and inclusion in this directory is not an official endorsement by iREAD or the Illinois Library Association.
